Artist Manger
Job Description: An artist manager is the person responsible for running the business side of the artists career. This is so that the artist is free to focus on making music and their next video. If a artist manger is signed to a independent label he may take on the role of being a agent, accountant and promoting the artist by hearing their clothing line.
Reporting to: He may need to report to the CEO of the label or maybe not anyone at all as he is the manager himself.
In charge of: They are in charge of the artist they are managing
Type of position: Freelance
Key Responsibilities: to manage the business side of the artists music life, helping with publicity and promotions.
Skills Needed:
Knowledge Needed: they will need knowledge of recent publicity for the artist
